Driving Directions: From the intersection of U.S. 64, U.S. 276, and N.C. 280, drive 10.2 miles on U.S. 276 north to F.R. 475B on the left. Turn left onto F.R. 475B and drive 0.2 mile, passing F.R. 5032 on the right and crossing a bridge. In 0.8 mile, pass F.R. 5042 on the right and F.R. 5041 on the left. After 1.4 miles, pass F.R. 5040 on the left. In 1.6 miles, arrive at the gated F.R. 5043. Park here without blocking the gate.

Hiking Directions: The trailhead for the blue blazed Senard Ridge Trail is located to the right of F.R. 5043. Don’t take it. Instead, hike down F.R. 5043 for 0.19 mile to a bridge and the spur trail for the Waterfall on the Tributary of Log Hollow Branch. At 0.48 mile, come to another bridge and a view of the Waterfall on Log Hollow Branch on the right. Continue another 0.34 mile (0.82 mile from the trailhead) to a view of the waterfall on the right.
